Breaktime Bible Study: Walking in the Light
Walking in the Light
For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life. Psalm 56:13
David was delivered from death as his enemies chased him down, but He experienced the full protection of God. He knew God’s protection of grace. David knew God through experience and was empowered by what he knew. His experience gave him the ability to walk with God in light. His experience with God led Him into a deep relationship.
Walking in the light takes experience. When we know the protection of God’s hands, we can move forward confidently. When we experience the Father’s deliverance, it becomes easier to walk in the light. Experiencing God is a treasure to hold on to. What has been your story, what has God delivered you from?
But how do we experience God? We live in a relationship with God by continually coming to Him in the Word and prayer. God opens our hearts and desires to share life with us.
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
Here is a clear assignment for us – to seek God with all our heart. Friends, we have a Father who desires to have a relationship with His children, and He doesn’t turn his back. Come as you are.
