Breaktime Bible Study: In Trust

In Trust

in God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me? Psalm 56:11

Once again, David places his trust in God. This means when he walks through daily life, his confidence is in God. This means David has come to understand God in a way where he can put his life’s trust in who God says He is. He didn’t allow the opinions of others to put fear in his life because God is his friend.

Like so many of us, we can get caught up into fearing what others think of us to the place it overrides what God is thinking. God is inviting us into a trusting relationship that we walk in what God is saying. David understood God is his source of life, not the man or even his own emotions.

We take a walk on a higher plane, but the only way is through faith. Believing in who God says we are and how He sees us. Walking in faith is a constant practice. Trusting God is a daily exercise that we apply. Learning who God is allows us to trust Him with our life. It is one day at a time and trusting him with one life issue at a time. He wants to walk with you daily, reminding you who you are.
