Breakime Bible Study: Bringing it All
Bringing it All
They conspire, they lurk, they watch my steps, hoping to take my life. Psalm 56:6 Now David’s enemies invade his privacy and they have evil thoughts against him. He knows what it's like to have his life threatened and to be afraid of an enemy chasing him. The enemy was waiting for the best occasion to capture his life. They lingered for the perfect moment – the second David lets down. The enemy does the same with us. He waits for the proper time to pounce, but we know he is a defeated foe. Yet, he still tries to convince us he is mightier than our God. He spends his time trying to convince us to fear and doubt. We are not called to cower before the enemy but rise up in victory. God has given us many weapons to fight and David chased after God’s heart. He brought all his trials to the Lord in total vulnerability. One of the ways we can remain is to live continually seeking and praying. We can carry our burdens before God in honesty and admit our current place, instead of denying and covering up the heart. Today in the Workplace What can you bring before God?
