Breaktime Bible Study: You are my Vision
True Vision
9 You are my strength, I watch for you; you, God, are my fortress, Psalm 59:9 Psalm 59:9
David kept his gaze on God and His next move. David is looking and anticipating the movement of God −his fortress. David’s vision is on God, and the continued strength God is pouring into his life.
We can tell the direction we are headed by what we keep our eyes fixed on.
Amid all the trials, David’s eyes fell on the strength of God. We can all look around and find reasons to panic and stress. Many of us may have tried this approach lately only to find more anxiety filling our hearts. Our gaze may have left the strength of God and fell on our circumstances.
Friends God is above the situations of life and invites us to seek through his eyes. We are missing what God is providing if we continue to look in our circumstances. Focus on God−His word is filled with promises. What is your go-to when life is uncertain?
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. MT 6:33
