”The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry.” Psalm 18:7
David, knowing that God heard his prayers, breaks into his image of God’s power. He can make the impossible, possible. When David could see the foundation of the mountains shaking, his faith was ever increasing. His faith could see all of God’s possibilities.
God also parted seas when the enemy was chasing His people, and prayer can open prison doors. Prayer can shake walls and see enemies fall. Prayer is not limited to mountains which seem immovable. Prayer is not limited; even mountains can experience the power of God. We all have mountains standing before us which need to be shaken.
Even in our workplace, we may have an immovable giant staring us down daily. We may have to face circumstances beyond our control and influence. Our help goes beyond our confidence and power, and even mountains quake in the presence of the Lord Almighty.
“How shall puny man be able to face it out with God when the very mountains quake with fear? Let no the boaster dream that his present false confidence with support him the dread day of wrath.” Charles Spurgeon
Today in the workplace:
What MOUNTAIN needs moved?
