Gardening Lives with Best Practices of Psychology, Rooted in Relationship with Christ

The Vermeer Charitable Foundation invites you to attend a free, open to the public event on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Vermeer Global Pavilion. The presentation, entitled “Gardening Lives with Best Practices of Psychology, Rooted in Relationship with Christ,” will be given by Dr. Heidi Vermeer-Quist. Mental health is a lot like gardening. We need good soil (mental health) in order to grow, grief (the emotion that comes with loss) feels a whole lot like pruning; as we work through grief, it can create an opportunity for new growth. We have a loving Master Gardener. He shows us how to live, provides everything we need, and is always with us through the mountains and valleys of this life. The best practices of psychology are naturally integrated into this spiritual gardening perspective

Free event – open to the public, no RSVP required!

This is the opening event for the “Mental Health in Ministry Conference” on Monday, April 24th – come learn strategies to help you manage your mental health.
