Join a ranger at the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge on Sunday, July 22 at 2:00 p.m for a guided walk along the ½ mile Overlook Trail to explore the fascinating history, recovery, and management of the American Bison. Have an opportunity to observe the refuge’s herd of 54 bison including the 8 calves born just this spring. Learn what makes our national mammal both unique and important to American history.
